It all begins with temptation. Many people are tempted with “same-sex” attraction. But temptation is to be resisted! So submit yourselves to God; resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).
There is no question that sodomy (anal intercourse between two men) is “unnatural.” Sodomy is a perversion of human sexuality -- it is evil.
You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; such a thing is an abomination. If a man lies with a male as with a woman, they have committed an abomination… (Leviticus 18:22;20:13)
The “sin of the Sodomites” (homosexual sexual activity) is one of the sins that cry to heaven. (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1867)
Then the LORD said, “Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great and their sin (sodomy) so very grave, I will go down to see whether they have done altogether according to the outcry which has come to Me; and if not, I will know.”
Then the men (angels) said to Lot, “Have you any one else here? Sons-in-law, sons, daughters, or any one you have in the city, bring them out of the place; for we are about to destroy this place, because the outcry against its people has become great before the LORD, and the LORD has sent us to destroy it.” (Genesis 18:20-21;19:12-13)
“Have you not read that from the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female’ and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh?’ So they are no longer two, but one flesh. The attraction is lust -- not love.
It is an evil spirit that causes one to feel lust for -- and become
sexually aroused by -- another person of the same sex!
Homosexuality is sexual perversion;
it is human sexuality perverted by the devil!
