Jerry Sr is a Wise Son of JESUS CHRIST

I attended a  Crawfish boil this afternoon here in New Orleans Louisiana.  It was a beautiful day and it was wonderful to spend it with close friends and family.  As always Jerry Sr and I engaged in a discussion on our Lord JESUS CHRIST, the BIBLE, Salvation, Catholicism, Protestantism, and the non-denominational Churches.   I had recently purchased a book for Jerry Sr.  It was "The One Thing You Can't do in Heaven" written by a close friend of mine Mark Cahill.

(Check out Mark Cahill's ministry at his website: http://www.markcahill.org)

Jerry Sr is whip smart and very little slips by him. Jerry Sr is also a staunch Catholic. Mark Cahill hails from the non-denominational Churches.  Which is to say the Protestant Church.   These are two sides of the same coin, but do to doctrinal issues very rarely can the two sides agree on anything.  I try very hard not to get bogged down in doctrinal issues because I am a Christian first. I believe that an intimate relationship with JESUS CHRIST, GOD the Father, and being filled with the HOLY SPIRIT are the most important thing.  As for where the LORD desires to plant you I l;eave that up to the Almighty Creator of the Universe.

In his book Mark Cahill makes a definitive statement about different entertainers, political figures, all burning in HELL.  In Mark's Cahill's defense the fruit of their lives, the sinful way in which these men conducted themselves, leaves little hope that these men are any where but Hell at the present moment.

Jerry Sr made a profound statement refuting Mark Cahill's declaration that these men are certainly burning in HELL.  Jerry Sr said this...

"When someone states that absolutely these men are burning in hell they are putting ALMIGHTY GOD the creator of the Universe into a very small box.  Who ever makes proclamations about judgements that ONLY GOD the FATHER has the power and authority are denying GOD as the Ultimate authority.  These human judgements deny  the power of JESUS CHRIST'S shed blood. They are denying the power of the Cross. They are denying the Divine Mercy of Our Father in Heaven who's compassion knows no bounds.

When one says..."He or She is burning in HELL now!"  What they are really saying is..."GOD is limited and incapable of something so Merciful as a deathbed conversion!  What they are saying is..."GOD can't possibly forgive such a sinful life."

But...Isn't that the point of the Cross!  That if you will humble yourself and ask forgiveness that JESUS CHRIST the Divine Son of GOD can and will forgive a life spent in sin!

After all the 1st person to walk into Heaven after the Cross at Calvary was a THIEF!  A man who was crucified for the crimes he committed during during life.  I assure you that there were people who knew that thief who said..."He is burning in Sheol now!"  But you and I know different because the Word of GOD tells us so...

"Two others also, who were criminals, were being led away to be put to death with Him. 33 When they came to the place called The Skull, there they crucified Him and the criminals, one on the right and the other on the left. 34 But Jesus was saying, "Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing." And they cast lots, dividing up His garments among themselves. 35 And the people stood by, looking on. And even the rulers were sneering at Him, saying, "He saved others; let Him save Himself if this is the Christ of God, His Chosen One." 36 The soldiers also mocked Him, coming up to Him, offering Him sour wine, 37 and saying, "If You are the King of the Jews, save Yourself!" 38 Now there was also an inscription above Him, "THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS."

39 One of the criminals who were hanged there was hurling abuse at Him, saying, "Are You not the Christ? Save Yourself and us!" 40 But the other answered, and rebuking him said, "Do you not even fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation? 41 "And we indeed are suffering justly, for we are receiving what we deserve for our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong." 42 And he was saying, "Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom!" 43 And He said to him, "Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise."    Luke 23:32-43
